Our Mission
The Tennessee Intercollegiate Forensic Association (TIFA) promotes speech and debate activities in Tennessee colleges and universities by hosting an annual state tournament. Our membership is comprised of junior and senior colleges that have competitive speech and/or debate programs. The state tournament includes Parliamentary Debate (NPDA), Individual Debate (IPDA), and Individual Events (IE).
2024 State Tournament
The 2024 State Tournament was hosted by Cleveland State Community College in Cleveland, Tennessee. Thirteen schools competed in Open Parliamentary (NPDA) and Individual (IPDA) Debate and Individual Events (IE). Belmont University took home the First Place Team Sweepstakes Award.
